Description
The My Father Flor de las Antillas Maduro Toro (6×52) is a celebrated, medium-to-full-bodied cigar and a darker, richer evolution of the original award-winning Flor de las Antillas line. The name, meaning “Flower of the Antilles,” is a tribute to Cuba, the Garcia family’s ancestral homeland, and is wrapped in beautiful, vintage-inspired artwork.
Handcrafted in EstelÃ, Nicaragua, the blend features Nicaraguan Cuban-seed long-fillers and binders, grown on the Garcia family’s farms. What sets the Maduro apart is its top-quality, dusky Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper. This wrapper is expertly fermented to a dark shade, delivering a richer and more complex profile than the original.
Smokers can anticipate a tapestry of decadent flavors, including intense dark chocolate, espresso, earth, and roasted nuts. These deep, savory notes are balanced by hints of creamy leather, a subtle sweetness (such as dried fruit or molasses), and the signature Pepin-style pepper and spice throughout the smoke, which offers a full-flavored experience with a clean finish. The cigar is presented in a distinct, elegant box-pressed shape. While the original Flor de las Antillas Toro received a monumental 96-point rating and was named Cigar Aficionado’s #1 Cigar of the Year in 2012, the Maduro version has also garnered multiple high ratings, building on the line’s esteemed legacy.
